What is your sport?


How many hours per week do you spend training/playing?

About 20 hours total, including water, land and strength training

What study are you undertaking at ANU? What year of study are you in? 

I am in my second year of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree

How do you juggle the commitments of playing sport and studying?

I find it is important to rest and recover well so that I can focus on what I am doing and manage my time productively

Does sport assist you in your academic pursuits?

I think so – being so busy definitely helps me to focus and get the most out of my study time

Winning 3 Australian titles in 2016

What is your long term sporting goal?

To represent Australia at a Senior A (open age) level in rowing

Who has had the greatest influence on your sporting career thus far?

My coaches at Sydney Rowing Club have really helped me transition from a school level rower through to an underage national representative, and develop and grow as an athlete

Who is your sporting idol & why?

Kim Brennan – she is so dedicated and an amazing role model for aspiring athletes

Any superstitions or unusual game day preparations?

It’s probably not unusual, but I always like to have a coffee before a big race!

Tell us something interesting or fascinating about yourself

I’ve always dreamed of being a coxswain! (A coxswain is a person who steers the boat)
