Fencing is an international and Olympic sport that is a great workout both physically and mentally. The ANU Fencing Club aims to promote fencing on campus through regular training, competitions, and social events. We offer training and competitions in all three weapons (foil, épée, and sabre). We are also a founding club of the Excellence in Sport program, a pilot program created by ANU Sport designed to maximize the student experience of sport on campus. As part of this we have designed a new training program to help develop new fencers to a national level. ANUFC hosts a number of club level competitions throughout the year. Club fencers also regularly participate in regional, state, and national level competitions. ANUFC offers beginner courses throughout the year. Completion of a beginner course or >6 months’ fencing experience is required to join the club. Check the club website for further details. **Training times:** - Tuesday 7-10 PM - Sunday 11 AM - 2 PM
