Learn to Row

The ANU Boat Club runs an Introduction to Rowing (ITR) program that introduces the fundamentals of rowing to those who have never tried it before.

ENROLMENTS ARE NOW OPEN.  Please contact treasurer@anuboatclub.org.au

Dates and times for the upcoming program can be found below.

The ITR Program requires no previous experience. It includes 8 x 90 minute group lessons over four weeks with practical, on-water instruction from the very first lesson. Participants will have a certified coach and experienced coxswain to help them learn about the equipment and terminology used in rowing, and to teach the skills required.

The ITR program is run during the week in the afternoon/evenings from the club house on The ANU Campus and is open to both students and non-students.

ANU Students: $170.00

ANU Sport Members: $170.00

Other: $240.00

After successfully completing the ITR program all ANU students and ANU Sport Members will be eligible to join the Boat Club and receive a discount on the annual fee.

If you are interested in participating in the ITR program, please go to the ANU Boat Club's Membership Page and fill out the member enquiry form.
