If you’re looking for a high-intensity, full-body routine then maybe it’s time to head back to basics. Few sports can match kickboxing for muscular strength, fitness and endurance. A traditional training session with a few rounds on the heavy bags; a few more on the Thai pads; a fast-paced assault on the focus mitts; a solid set of jump rope; and some medicine ball to work the abdominals is as close to the complete workout as you’re going to get.
But please take note, this is not a kickboxing class... it’s a kickboxing workout. The aim is to promote total body conditioning and technical skill, not to train for combat.
No sparring means our focus remains on providing you with one dynamic hour of safe aerobic exercise. The initial class is aimed at beginners and will introduce you to a range of training equipment and strategies. Subsequent classes will build on your repertoire of techniques and routines, making this course ideal for the novice or the experienced martial artist alike.
