The Lunchtime Sport Competition sports are played in mixed team formats (male and female teams).
The competition runs for 10 weeks (including 2 weeks grading and 3 weeks of finals). There are NO games played on Public Holidays and during the teaching breaks for the university (2-13th April & 3-14th September 2018).
Games start at 10 minutes past the hour and consist of 2 x 20 minute halves with a 5 minute half time. That means, if your game is in the 12pm timeslot - the game will starts at 12:10pm, half time will be at 12:30pm til 12:35pm and the game will finish at 12:55pm.

Q. I don't have a team can I still join?
ANU Sport staff will assist where possible to fill teams with extra players.

Q. One of my players is sick/injured/studying can I get a replacement?
Yes, teams can have fill-in players participate.
Players will need to play 3 games per semester to qualify for finals.
Q. When do games start?
All games will begin promptly at ten (10) minutes past the hour.
There are two time-slots - one at 12:10PM and one at 1:10PM.
Games finish 45 minutes after commencement at 12:55PM and 1:55PM.
Q. How long do games run for?
Games run for 2 x 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break.
Q. Are there competitions divisions?
Depending on the number of teams registering and level of competition, compeitions can have 2 divisions.
In this case, the first 2 weeks of competition will be used as grading rounds to determine the competition structure.
Q. Can my team request a preferred timeslot?
When putting the draws together ANU Sport will try to accommodate preferred game time, however, teams may be required to play at both times throughout the season.
