I'm in my second year studying a Bachelor of Law/International Relations
How many hours per week do you spend training/competing?
22-28 hours a week
How do you juggle the committments of MMA and studying?
Studying on a part time load and being under the Elite Athlete program relieves a lot of pressure and allows me to focus on my training
Does sport assist you in your academic pursuits?
Sport grounds me and keeps me disciplined, which is crucial to academic development
Greatest sporting achievement?
Making the Olympic Shadow Team
What is your long-term sporting goal?
My goal is to take out the world title and dominate the MMA scene. I also aim to make the Australian Olympic team for wrestling
Who has had the greatest influence on your sporting career thus far?
My greatest influence thus far has been myself, wanting to better myself and continually driving myself onwards to improve and achieve. Others have supported along the way and been by my side, but at the end of the day, I am the one that has done the hard work
Who is your sporting idol and why?
Mike Tyson. A superior athlete with a ferocious style
Do you have any supersititions or unusual game day preparations?
Pre fight pampering includes getting my hair done and going for a nice massage
Tell us something about you people may not know?
I didn’t start training until 3 years ago.
