Summer Pilates - all levels

Devised in the 1920’s and incorporated in the programmes of European and American dancers for decades, the Pilates Method is gaining momentum as one of Hollywood’s trendiest forms of body conditioning, with the likes of Madonna and Courtney Cox singing it’s praises. .

The Pilates Method works on six basic principles of concentration, Breathing, Centering, Precision, Control and Flowing Movement and aims to develop abdominal pelvic stability as the prerequisite to larger, full body movement. This series of workshops will introduce these principles as practiced through traditional and modified Pilates matwork.

Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, it is a non-impact form of exercise which focuses on strength, mobility, stability and flexibility as equal components of physical well being.
