ANU Sport will once again be running a 5-Week Mixed AFL 9s competition which enables people of all ages and ability levels to participate in a fun and relaxed environment, providing a great social and fitness outlet as we head into some warmer weather during spring 2018.
AFL 9s is the fun, fast and exciting new version of Australian Football. It’s a fast, free-flowing game that involves 9 players on each team playing on a smaller field. Best of all, AFL 9s is a non-contact version of the game which requires players to implement a touch in place of a tackle. Importantly, AFL 9s is easy to play, not too physically demanding and provides an environment where fun, enjoyment and safety are a priority.

Registration is $20 per player
The next competition will take place in spring 2018 and run for 5 weeks.
Games consist of 2 x 15 minute halves
All teams are mixed gender (3 females must be on field at all times)
